Things You Need to Know About Heartburn

It’s a fact. Many people are suffering from heartburn. It is usually brought about by  eating foods which are full of fat or foods which are too spicy. Overeating is also one of the main causes of heartburn. Chocolates can also cause heartburn too. For some people, fruits which are citrus or with tomatoes can also cause heartburn. If you feel the burning sensation in your stomach, try these tips:

Gulp in a large glass of water. It will dilute the HCl. You can also try drinking potato juice.

If you are lying down, sit down and sit upright. It will help push the HCl down.

If you are wearing tight clothing, loosen it. Don’t wear pants tightening the waist.

Fruits which are good for your heartburn are papaya and pineapple. They contain bromelain which helps in digestion.

You can also try some aloe vera supplement. It can help stop the heartburn.

To prevent heartburn avoid drinking caffeine, cola or milk.

Avoid also taking antidepressants and sedatives.
